Its hard to believe I've been married to this wonderful man for 8 years tomorrow. Here is a small tribute to our life together. I love you Aaron, my sweetheart, my everything.
The beginning. Engagement picture taken in the Winter of 2002. (Compare this picture with the one at the end of the post.)
Weren't we hot? My engagement favorite.
The Engagement Picture we used for our announcement. Our theme: A night on the Oregon coast with Lighthouses. We had glass bottles with "teach me to walk in the light" lyrics message in them for center pieces. We had the biggest best devils food chocolate covered strawberries cake. To this day when I smell strawberries it takes me back to our reception and that happy day.
We took pictures outside the temple for 2 hours. It was of course the middle of February in Utah. Totally cold!!!! Every 10 minutes I had to stick my hands in Aaron's jacket to warm them.
Of course we enjoyed ourselves despite the cold. So happy to be married for Eternity in the Mt. Tempanogos Temple.
We were married right smack dab in the middle of the Salt Lake 2002 Winter Olympics. After our reception that night we were leaving for our honey moon and while passing down town, fireworks were going off high in the air from the stadium we saw it as a perfect send off.
A little over 3 years later we were blessed to get a sweet little boy we named Egan Ray (Little Red Fire) that we were able to adopt....
and seal to us for eternity!
Not too long after that... in fact only months we were stunned to be placed with a feisty little girl we named Evelyn Jean (Precious Gift)
and sealed her to us as well for eternity!
We moved to the northwest In October 2007. To be closer to my family. Thank you Aaron, I know that is a sacrifice for you.
We enjoy all the fun times.

We've enjoyed 2 1/2 years in the northwest. Aaron finished his degree. Now has a great job while I am blessed to stay home with the kids. Don't get me wrong, we've had trials, but our blessings are abundant. Our future is bright with big goals to work for.
We enjoy all the fun times.

I love it :) How Sweet
Aw Jasmine, you're so sweet, a hopeless romantic! I love it! Happy anniversary to you both, and I hope you have an eternity full of wonderful years together!
Jasmine, you are an artist! The song finished up playing just as I finished your story and photos and I had tears on my face.
I love you and your family! You're an awesome example of how one should regard their husband and children.
Love,
Janina
