Happy Birthday to Me!

Ever Since before I can remember I have had a tradition of getting my favorite cereal for my birthday, and that favorite cereal is none other than Lucky Charms! When I was much younger than my old self today I had a speech impediment, and I loving called my cereal "sucky warms". This name has stuck to my beloved cereal throughout the years. Here's to Sucky Warms!

I can still remember the old jingle:
Pink Hearts, Orange Stars
Yellow Moons, Green Clovers
Blue Diamonds And Purple Horse Shoes
Their Magically Delicious!
Mmmm I enjoyed my bowl this morning!

An Early Birthday Present!

For my Birthday I asked for a Serger, and I found just the right one online, and there was a sale for free shipping and 100 free sewing machine needles so I got it! I've had so much fun using it, I made Evelyn's Easter dress. I'm trying to post it to my dress blog,... but having issues. This dress has a fully lined bodice, hand embellished pedals of tool, cap sleeves with a totally cool professional look 'cause all seams are finished with a 3 thread over lock stitch. I had this material left over from my bride's maid dresses in my wedding 7 years ago. And all the extras were totally cheap. So I made this one of a kind dress for less than $5. If you count in the material it only would have been about $12. I'll probably end up spending more for the shoes to go with it. =) Want one?
