Our Anniversary!

On the 13th of February Aaron and I celebrated our 7th year married. I'm going to flaunt how wonderful and crazy my husband is, just a heads up. I woke up at 6:30 in the morning to Aaron begging me to wake up so he could give me my anniversary present before he left for work. First, a beautiful funny card, then a candle from bath and body works (one of my favorite places) with and ocean shore scent, then a dvd: night ocean waves complete with soft soothing music. (Our wedding theme was a night on the Oregon coast) Then he pulled out a little box that said "Zales" on the side! Inside a beautiful 7 stoned teard necklace, (the blue stones happen to be my birthstone) (Of course my gifts for him paled in comparison, chocolate, service cards and a computer game.) He left for work while I was on cloud nine. I Went to Wal-mart with the kids and got them a few goodies. That night Aaron got a babysitter from the ward and we went out to Olive Garden, and he took me to Michaels (my absolute favorite place to shop for unnecessary fun stuff) and bought me a project. We felt so old going home before 10, but we had a nice evening at home. =) The next night (Valentines) We went to a stake adult dance, and had our picture taken.

Ok, so before you ooh and aahh over the wonderfulness of my hubby, let me tell you what he put me through the night before our anniversary. He leaves at about 5:30pm, heading to do some work for my dad about 20 min drive away, and about 8pm I get a call from dad's house asking me where he is. Of course I freak out. ( he has just happened to loose his cell) I check with state patrol to see if he got in an accident, then they give me the numbers of local hospitals in case the accident hadn't been reported yet, and I'm calling my mom "what could he be doing!? He said he was going to work?" (I told him the night before I didn't need anything for our anniversary, couldn't think of anything I wanted.) It wasn't until another hour later he walks in the door with a smile on his face thinking he had a great secret that he didn't get to work.. but was shopping. Its a good thing he's cute, and the gifts he got me were so good. =)

Ya a little freaky! I too would flip out. I worry everyday when Codey leaves for work that they are going to call and ask where he is. Aaron should have let your dad in on the secret so he didn't call you! =) But what a beautiful neclace, you lucky lady!! I hope my husband gets off his wallet for our anniversary this year...(our 10) and actually buys me a diamond to put in my wedding ring! I lost the diamond about 5 years ago and have had a fake one since. =)

What a beautiful necklace, you should be on cloud nine for that one. Glad that Aaron is healthy and happy.
